Shmiras Ha’Lashon Class    Young Israel of Woodmere Nefesh Shimshon Shabbos Kodesh 

 

 

Tefilah Class Tefilah Class meets every other Monday morning, 9:00-10:00 am.  This class studies the Sefer Gates of Prayer, insights of Rav Shimshon Dovid Pincus zt’l.  The class was formed as a “Jewish Response to Tragedy,” in memory of Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Frenkel, and Gilad Shear z’l, who were kidnapped and murdered by H-mas in Israel, Summer 2014.

 

 

Parsha Class – Parsha Class meets weekly on Monday evening 8-9 pm, and Tuesday morning, 9:30-10:30 am.  Choose the day and time that works best for you. This is a high-level parsha class that focuses on studying texts, commentaries, in-depth and thought-provoking learning, and uncovering novel Torah insights and lessons.

 

 

JCC Classes – Classes meet at the JCC of Cedarhurst, during the fall and spring semesters.  A sampling of class topics include: Insights into Chessed, The Matriarchs, Jewish holidays, and Insights into Brachos and Prayer. For more information and registration contact [email protected]

 

 

Living With Emunah This class meets weekly, Wednesday from 8:30 – 9:15 pm, at Congregation Shaaray Tefila, Lawrence, NY.  Join us as we learn from the sefer Building a Sanctuary in the Heart/Bilvavi Mishkan Evneh. This important sefer outlines essential and practical steps for attaining closeness to, and strengthening our faith in, Hashem.

 

 

Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services offers an exciting and meaningful Parsha Class for Seniors (women only). Class meets over the phone on Mondays at 10:30–11:30 am and Wednesdays at 10:15-11:15 am. Class meets in person monthly on a Wednesday at the Ohel Jaffa Family Campus in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Shmiras Ha’Lashon Class – This class meets every other Monday morning from 9:15-10 am.  Join us as we learn important insights based on the sefer Kuntres Chovas HaShemirah, of the Chafetz Chaim zt’l. 

 

 

Young Israel of Woodmere –This class meets Thursday mornings 9:30-10:30am. Topics covered include parsha, chagim, current events, Israel and more, always related to our daily lives with relevant, impactful and timeless lessons.

 

 

 

Nefesh Shimshon Shabbos Kodesh – Please join us every other Friday morning from 9-9:45 am, as we study the sefer of R‘ Shimshon Pincus zt’l on Shabbos Kodesh.  Join our learning as we add insights, meaning and depth to our observance of, and appreciation for, Shabbos.
